Drawing instruments and accessories, BIS - SP 46, plane scales and representative fraction. (Practical)

Conics, cycloidal curves, involutes and spirals.

Loci of Points
Path of points on simple mechanisms, slider crank and four bar chain mechanisms.

Projections of Points & Lines
Principal planes of projection, projections in different quadrants, true length and inclination of lines.

Projections of Planes
Projections of planes inclined to one and two reference planes, auxiliary plane method.

Projections & Sections of Solids
Projection of cylinder, cone, pyramid and prism; sections of solids and true shape.

Development of Lateral Surfaces
Parallel line development and radial line development.

Orthographic Projections
Views from front, top and side using first and third angle projection, full sectional view. (Practical)
